John Abraham wants to make a proper motorcycle racing movie

John Abraham today tweeted an artwork from the legendary Isle of Man TT, stating that he wants suggestions on making a serious film about motorcycle racing. Unarguably the biggest motorcycle enthusiast in Bollywood, John stated, “We need a serious film on motorcycle racing… Am planning one!!! Need feedback.”

The motorcycling community has a dearth of good racing movies, with cruisers and choppers hogging up most of the celluloid limelight. There has been a few notable exceptions in the documentary genre, like the raw and visceral TT 3D: Closer to the Edge, that deals with the aforementioned Isle of Man TT, and the Faster MotoGP series from director Mark Neale. If John Abraham does go ahead with his movie, the motorcycling world will be all the better for it.
