Fresh off his accolade winning turn in Her, Joaquin Phoenix is now being offered the role of Lex Luthor in Zack Snyder‘s upcoming Batman vs. Superman, by the same studio, Warner Bros. According to Variety, Phoenix has been offered the role but has yet to accept.
If his menacing turn as Commodus in Ridley Scott’s Gladiator was anything to go by, we’re in for a treat.
